Beijing Vacation Confirmed

My trip next month to Beijing have been confirmed.

This week were the boys turn to take their NAPFA test.
Upper sec boys under went their NAPFA yesterday and on
Thursday, it will be the lower sec boys turn.

I had lot of fun exploring new things with my SINA blog
account yesterday. There will be times where I will blog
a double entry on both my blogspot and SINA account.

SPOP Finals TODAY

Tonight will be SPOP finals held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
This program started off since January 2008 to promote Singapore
new song writers and singers.

Saturday ..... !!!!

I hope that the tour agency will call us tomorrow to give us
a confirmation for our coming trip to Beijing.

17 more days to Beijing... Please !!!!
AND
17 more days to my last day of work... ;-)

Nothing much to update at this point in time but instead
I am using this place to express my anxiety for this
coming trip to Beijing.

Fingers cross with regards to the current situation on the
Tibet Riots/Protest. Indeed, God will bless my family for
a safe and fruitful journey/trip to Beijing despite of this
exiting situation in China.

More Updates On My Coming Beijing Trip

Currently, my coming trip to Beijing is a hassle.

If we were to fly by SQ it will be a confirm departure and tour.
But if we were to fly by Air China, the airline require at least 6
passengers in order to have a confirm departure and tour.
Flying by SQ means that I will need to pay an additional of
$200 plus per person for the trip as compared to Air China.

From what I understand from the tour agency, they will try to
push for the departure and tour by Air China. Well, from a
business perspective, they have already collected the deposit
from us, which is not a small sum of money (almost 3/4 of the
trip fee) and as a matter of fact, they will not refund the money
back to us so easily.

The tour agency will let us know the status by Tuesday 25 March.

To all my readers out there, fingers cross for my coming trip.

The school is currently playing lots of retro music for the rehearsal
countdown next month to our 120th anniversary. It sounds like I
am working in ZOUK right now. They are playing songs like. Hawaii
Five O, YMCA, Limbo Rock, Let Do The Twist Again, Celebrate
Tonite Come On, etc all those 80s retro song. Not forgetting that
the Deejay asking for 11 claps from the students and asking Fairfield
Student To SCREAM !!!!! Fairfield ROAR !!!!!
And I notice the Dee-Jay like asking .......
"ARE U Ready Fairfield Let SCREAM !!!!"

Beijing Trip Update, Fingers Cross

Well, after much eager, research and anticipation for my coming
Beijing vacation, I am not too sure if my coming vacation will be
a successful one.

Initially, we are suppose to depart on the 10 April early in the
morning, "AM" timing, but now what the tour agency have told
us today after making much calls and fuss to the tour agency...
They mentioned that our air ticket price is on a promotion package
and there must be at least 6 persons in order to depart from
Singapore to Beijing. Gosh!!!!

In the first place, the tour agency have mentioned to us that it was
a confirm departure prior too our booking and payment.

Secondly, the tour agency says that even if 5 persons were to
depart for this tour, the tour will still go on cos there are already
2 persons on the list, which adds up to 5 persons to the tour
group if we were to join the tour.

I hope that this coming Beijing trip will be a successful one as
I am longing to go Beijing to see the place.

The Week Break

I am on 2 days leave during this week school holiday.

The reason why I took leave this week was because of Isetan
Private Sale which was held yesterday, 13 April. On the other
hand I am clearing my leave before the last day of my work.

Once school reopen next week, I am going to be busy as the studens

The Singapore Flyer, Beijing Trip

I boarded the Singapore Flyer yesterday and had a great experience.

I have confirm my holiday plans to Beijing next month on
the 9 April 08. Places of interest that I will be visiting during my
coming Beijing trip will be the Great Wall of China, Forbidden City,
Tian An Men, Temple Of Heaven, etc.
